AGM deep-cycle

AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) batteries are the references when it comes to a cyclic use as in your camper or boat. The advantages of AGM batteries are many. As there is no free liquid acid in AGM batteries you can use these on their site. (we discourage using AGM batteries upside down)
To optimize the longevity of you Freetime AGM batteries please follow these instrutions.
As with all lead/acid batteries the life of your battery depends on depth of discharge. The deeper you discharge you battery, the faster it arrives at the end of its life.
Follow these tips for the longest life:
- avoid ultra-deep discharges
- Don’t leave a battery at a low stage of charge for an extended length of time. Charge a discharged battery as soon as possible.
- Use the highest initial charging current available (up to 30% of the 20-hour capacity per hour) while staying within the proper temperature-compensated voltage range..
