Made 4 Leisure batteries are top quality batteries produced in Europe. These deep-cycle batteries comes with two different technology. The smaller models (up to 105 Ah) are produced with a totally maintenance-freed Ca/Ca technology. The larger batteires (starting from 110 Ah) are using a maintenance-low hybrid technology. A hybrid technology means that the positif grid is a lead-Sb grid and the negatif grid is a lead-Ca grid.
Both technologies have been proven in a cyclic applications.

Ca/Ca range
The M4L Ca/Ca battery is a truly maintenance-free deep-cycle batterie. The design of a cold stretch grid for both negative and positive plate garanties a better conductivity and a better resistance to overcharge, heat, thermal runaway and vibrations. These batteries are truly maintenance-free. You do have to recharge them in time of course.
M4L Ca/Ca batteries have following caracteristics:
- cold stretch lead-calcium grid
- high density paste for a better batterylife
- reinforced enveloppe separators to reduce internal shortcircuits
- labyrinth lid, integral flame arestors
- reinforced and durable polypropylen container.

Hybrid range
The M4L hybrid battery is a maintenance low deep-cycle battery. These technology is often used in applications needing high capacities. Inland boats are often equipped with hybrid batteries as our M4L15.
All M4L batteries starting from 110 Ah use the hybrid technology. You even find a 6 Volt hybrid battery , our M4L06.

Installations
All M4L batteries can of course be used in a serie, parrallel, serie-parrallel installation. In a serie installation you increase the voltage while capacity remains the same and in parrallel installation you increase capacity while voltage remains the same.
We advise you to always use the same batteries in serie / parrallel connections. Always individually recharge the batteries to a 100 % before connecting them into your system. In a multi-battery installation, it is often best to replace the entire set of batteries when one battery is weak or has failed;
